Second Meeting Held by One Foundation Children Aid Project Management Committee |

In the evening of March 11, 2011, the second meeting of One Foundation Children Aid Project Management Committee was held in Beijing. Committee members Hua Nan, Li Chengpeng (telephone participation), Tang Wei, Xue Manzi, Xu Xiaoping, Yang Peng, Yu Jianrong, Zhang Baoyan, Zhang Zhiwei and Zhang Jinsong (on behalf of Chen Jinsong) were present at the meeting.
During the meeting, the Management Committee listened to One Foundation’s report on funding and other developments of the Children Aid Project. As of March 11, 2011, the One Foundation Children Aid Project had received donation totaling RMB 1,084,652.28. The Committee also discussed the database establishment plan for the Project, as well as the investigation reports from Diema Town, Honghe, Yunnan and Baoding, Hebei, and reached preliminary decisions that: 1. One Foundation would provide fund to “Bao Bei Hui Jia” (Baby Come Home) missing-children search website for technical upgrade to improve its information service functions, with a project budget of RMB 200,000. 2. Further feasibility study would be carried out about the Fairytale Parks suggested by Yu Jianrong in Diema, Yunnan and Baoding, Hebei. 3. Project report would be prepared on missing-children report and reward system by “Bao Bei Hui Jia”, which would be discussed in the next meeting.
