On the afternoon of May 17, Jet Li arrived in Chengdu. He headed downtown to discuss the aid plan with the staff of the local Red Cross after he briefly met with the media at the airport. So that the suffering victims in the devastated areas got aid as soon as possible, the first seven trucks of relief material, including tents, quilts, sleeping bags, disinfectant pills, milk powder for babies, purified drinking water, waterproof cloth, medicine, medical instrument and  flashlights were distributed to the frontlines of devastated area the next day (May 18). Jet Li went along to comfort and give a helping hand to the suffering victims.

We care about the suffering victims as much as we care about ourselves. Time is life, and we will try our best to help. Unity is strength, and we hope the victims can get through the difficulties and get back to their normal life in the near future.
