One Foundation Cup Charity Saloon Car Race begins
Due to a national mourning for Zhouqu mudslide victims , the "One Foundation Cup Charity Saloon Car Race " was postponed by one day and was held on August 16 at the Shanghai International Circuit. On that day, One Foundation founder Jet Li led 13 celebrity volunteers at the Shanghai Circuit, including Wen Zhang, Aaron Kwok, Ekin Cheng, Julian Cheung, Chin Ka Lok, Carlo Ng Ka Lok, Athena Chu, Michelle Ye, Li Shanshan, Niki Chow, Ethan Yuen, Annie Liu, Lin Peng, etc. They sweat in the scorching sun for the "One Foundation" fundraiser.
The 4th of its kind, the Saloon Car Race brought together celebrity volunteers from the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan to support and promote philanthropy and the foundation’s ideal. All celebrities showed their support and understanding to the postponement and participated in the event.

It was a very hot noon at the Shanghai Circuit. The stars were wearing the One Foundation celebrity volunteer T-shirt, and interacted with spectators. They left their fingerprints on a board, and performed the Foundation's "One" gesture to express the aspiration of one global family. During an interaction with spectators on the race track, celebrity volunteer Aaron Kwok led the crowd and shouted out "One Foundation, One Family". What a scene of thunderous echos!

It was an exceptionally baking afternoon. After the warm-up laps led by Mr. Jet Li, the celebrities put on their helmets, wore heavy racing suits, hopped in their rides and started the fierce game. Jet Li stood on the podium finish as the event's standard-bearer, and waved white flags to indicate the end of 6 laps. In the end, Carlo Ng Ka Lok won the men's championship. Chin Ka Lok, Aaron Kwok won second and third. Annie Liu from Taiwan won the women's Champion on her debut. Niki Chow, Michelle Ye won second and third. After the game, the stars donated all 40 million yuan raised to One Foundation. Renault China donated 30 million yuan and Balco donated 10 million donation yuan.
