The Love One City Initiative, the charity program under the partnership between Baoneng Taikoo City and One Foundation, was officially launched on January 7th, 2010.  Ms. Amy Zhou, Executive Chairwoman of One Foundation, was present at this exciting launch ceremony held in Baoneng Taikoo City Sales Center.  Baoneng Property announced that this real estate project would raise the fund of no less than RMB 1 million for One Foundation, by means of corporate contribution and owner donation encouraged by special discounts upon purchase, in order to support the charitable efforts of One Foundation.  

Baoneng Property Supports One Foundation Philanthropy Award with No Less Than RMB 1 Million

The Head of Baoneng Property stated in the ceremony that the company had declared the fundraising target of no less than RMB 1 million prior to this event.  All fund raised would be used to support One Foundation Philanthropy Award.   

Between January 7th and 31st, 2010, Baoneng Property Co., Ltd. would donate RMB 3,000 to One Foundation for each unit sold. From the initiative commencement to March 31st, 2010, Baoneng Property would count the number of all visitors to Baoneng Taikoo City and contribute RMB 1 to One Foundation for each visitor. Meanwhile, the company would also encourage its customers to make contributions to One Foundation by means of special discounts.  During the initiative, every customer would enjoy a price reduction of RMB 100,000 when purchasing the designated units of Baoneng Taikoo City, by presenting the certificate of donating RMB 3,000 or more to One Foundation.   

Baoneng Property Committed to Ongoing Partnership with One Foundation

In addition to charitable fundraising efforts, Baoneng Property will also sponsor the “Love in Action” initiative jointly held with One Foundation in 2010. It plans to organize the owners to explore the winner projects of One Foundation Philanthropy Award and hold field visits, including Sanjiangyuan Ecological Conservation in Qinghai and Lvtuoling Conservation in Gansu.  

The Head of Baoneng Property explained that this activity is only a starting point and the company will lead the industry, the owners and the staff to make ongoing and sustained charitable contributions.  Furthermore, Baoneng Property also plans to offer a variety of aids to One Foundation’s efforts in Shenzhen.  

One Foundation hoped that the field visits will attract more attention to the philanthropic organizations, create more insights and understanding on the growth of charitable cause, and thus encourage more consistent and organized actions. With diversified supports to the charitable cause, Baoneng serves as a superior model for more businesses bearing social responsibilities.
