On May 8th 2008, One Foundation allocated 100,000RMB towards the relief in response to the devastation caused by Cyclone Nargis in Burma, marking the first time that One Foundation has provided international aid.

        Cyclone Nargis arrived in Burma on May 2nd, 2009. From the very beginning, One Foundation paid close attention to the developments in order to provide a rapid response. Based on complete and up-to-date information from the Red Cross Society of China, One Foundation swiftly reached a decision to allocate 100,000RMB of the One Foundation/RCSC for use to purchase emergency food supplies to Burma’s most devastated areas. The Red Cross Society of Burma is responsible for handling and distribution.

        Living as one big family is the core belief of the One Foundation. Regardless of political, religious, racial, cultural, or generational differences, individual social responsibility is something that can understand the world over. If every global citizen offered a helping hand, we all benefit. 100,000RMB represents 100,000 people giving back a piece of their heart.
