| On March. 6, 2009 (Friday), One Foundation founder Mr. Jet Li attended the launching ceremony of the first Flagship Barbie House. The launching ceremony also unveiled the curtain for Barbie’s 50th anniversary. As Barbie’s philanthropic partner, Mr. Jet Li attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbons with Barbie’s global senior vice president Mr. Richard Dickson and Mattel's vice-president for international business development Mr. Gene Murtha.
Mr. Jet Li toured the fascinating biggest Barbie House in the world in the company of the brand’s managerial officials. In the launching ceremony, Mr. Jet Li and Mattel's vice-president for international business development Mr. Gene Murtha announced cooperation plan between Barbie and One Foundation. From March. 6, 2009, for each customer in Barbie’s Shanghai House, Mattel will donate 1 RMB to help One Foundation in its cause.
Barbie has 50 legendary years of history, with 45 nationalities, 100 different professions as princess, fashion icon, athlete and space women. Mr. Jet Li says he wishes that one day Barbie will dress up in One Foundation’s volunteer uniform to spread hope and love to every corner of the world.
