On March 24, 2008 the World Snooker China Open began in Beijing.The top 32 gymnasts in the world will conduct excellent competition with Chinese gymnasts for one week.It is the first time for Snooker China Open to cooperate with charity affairs and One Foundation. The fans around the country can not only enjoy fantastic contests but also engage in charity affairs.World Snooker China Open is another international sporting event planning to cooperate with One Foundation after NBA and MLB.

During the press conference hold in Mar 23 before opening, as the sole host, International Sport pronounced the cooperation with One Foundation. Whenever one China Open’s ticket is sold, the host, on behalf of the fans, will donate 1 RMB to One Foundation for charities. Since 2008, the two parties will continuously cooperate for 7 times.

Except for donating part income of tickets, the China open also spares no effort of utilizing its unique resource to promote One Foundation’s concept。In this press conference, the top snooker athletes Ronnie O’Sullivan、Hendry、Graeme Dott and China’s pride, Ding Junhui become One Foundation’s official volunteers. As the establisher of One Foundation, Mr. Jet Li extended his sincere welcome to these athletes.

Red Cross Society of China Jet Li One Foundation Project is operated independently under Red Cross structure, created by Mr. Jet Li, Ambassador of Red Cross Society of China。

The donations One Foundation collects will directly be put in the account of Jet Li One Foundation plan. All use of money will be under management of China Red Cross Society. One Foundation plans to be responsible of supervising the payment of money to achieve transparency and allocating a fund for its specified purpose only. Meanwhile, it will invite media and society to supervise it.
